2. Defective Prints
If you discover that your print has a defect, we will gladly offer a replacement at no extra cost. Please notify us as soon as possible, by emailing us at osloartprints@gmail.com with photos of the expected defects.
Under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven), you have the right to file a complaint for defects within 2 years from the date you receive the item. If your complaint is approved, we will cover return shipping and send a replacement. Refunds are not offered on defects only replacement prints.
3. Damaged Prints
Please check that the box is intact with no noticeable damage before excepting it from the DHL courier. If its damaged do not except it. File a complaint with the courier and get a notification from the courier. Upon opening your delivery and you discovering your artwork has been damaged, we will gladly offer a replacement. Please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order by sending an email to osloartprints@gmail.com, including photos of the damage. We will work with our printing and shipping partner to resolve the issue promptly.
4. Refunds for Non-Defective Products
If you believe your order does not match what you selected — such as discrepancies in size or material, please contact us promptly with a detailed description and photo evidence so we can review your case.
While refunds are not guaranteed for non-defective items, we may, at our sole discretion, offer:
- a partial refund,
- or a discount toward a future purchase from Kaffe og Kunst
depending on the nature of the issue. Please note that original print and shipping costs are non-refundable in these situations.
5. Pricing
All prices are listed in Norwegian Kroner (NOK). As the products sold are limited edition Digital Graphic Art (DGA) prints, they are exempt from VAT under applicable Norwegian tax laws.
For artworks priced above NOK 2,000, a legally mandated art fee of 5% is added to the displayed sale price. This fee supports the Fund for Visual Artists (BKH) and helps promote the creative environment in Norway. The fee is already included into the price.
We handle all reporting and payments related to this fee to ensure a smooth process.
Please note this fee cannot be discounted. For more information, visit www.kunstavgiften.no.
Prices may change without prior notice; however, you will always pay the price confirmed at checkout.
6. Payments
6.1 Accepted Payment Methods
Kaffe og Kunst accepts payments securely through the payment providers Stripe and PayPal.
We currently accept the following payment methods:

- Credit and debit cards supported by PayPal
All payments are processed securely, and your payment details are never stored on our servers.
6.2 Processing Fees
Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Fees may vary by country. The minimum charge is $0.50 (USD).

Note: These fees are not added to your order — they are deducted from the seller’s earnings.
6.3 Price & Remuneration
The remuneration for our services is the one indicated in the price list currently online and confirmed at checkout. We reserve the right to change the price list for future orders without notice.
All prices are in NOK and are, excluding the 5% Art Fee that added at checkout to all artwork price kr2000 and above (kunstavgiften). No Tax/VAT is added. All
6.4 Payment Security
The security of your financial transactions is a top priority at Kaffe og Kunst. We are fully committed to protecting your data, and our store on the Shopify platform, where Shopify Payments are processed, complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
PCI DSS is the highest security standard for businesses accepting credit card payments, ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of your card details during online transactions. 6.5 Data Protection & Evidence
Kaffe og Kunst is built on the Wix platform and operated under Douglas Carr Photography, committed to full GDPR compliance.
- All payment transactions through Stripe and PayPal are encrypted and serve as proof of transaction.
- No sensitive payment information is stored on our servers.
6.6 Import Taxes & Customs Fees
Orders shipped to Norway or other countries may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, or handling fees. These are not included in the product price and are the responsibility of the buyer.
7. Order Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully placed. If you do not receive this confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us at [your contact email], and be sure to check your spam or junk folder.
Once your order has been printed and dispatched, you will receive a separate shipping confirmation email with tracking details. This email is sent by our production partner’s logistics system and may be branded under “Art Prints.” Please also check your spam or junk folder for this notification.
8. Shipping and Delivery Countries

All orders are fulfilled by our professional print partner, LabKorner, with shipping originating from Poland.
Shipping costs are calculated and added at checkout — they are paid by you, the customer.

Important Shipping Details:
- Orders are sent to the delivery address provided at checkout.
- You may enter a different billing address from your shipping address.
- Once payment is completed, the delivery address cannot be changed.
- You will receive a dispatch confirmation email once your order is shipped. This email includes your tracking number and estimated delivery time.
- Estimated delivery times are not shown at checkout.
- Delivery typically takes 2 - 3 weeks, depending on your location.
Please note that these are estimated times. Delays may occur during local public holidays, seasonal peaks (such as Christmas and New Year), or unexpected events that affect courier capacity or staffing. - Please note: delivery times are not contractual. Kaffe og Kunst is not liable for any consequential damages due to delays.
- You are responsible for any local import taxes, customs clearance fees, or duties upon delivery.
9. Order Cancellation & Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett) & Returns
As all orders, metal and fine art prints are custom-made to the customer's specifications, including print type metal or fine art paper, size, metal print finish aluminium, and or matt or gloss acrylic glass and framing options. According to Norwegian law, custom made products cannot be canceled once placed Cancellation Act (Angrerettloven) Chapter 6 Section Section 22.Exceptions to the right to cancel, (e) the delivery of goods that are manufactured to the consumer's specifications or have been clearly personalised, customers do not have the right to cancel or return goods that are manufactured to their specifications or have been clearly personalised. By making a purchase from Kaffe og Kunst you automatically agree to these Term's and Conditions outlined by Norwegian Law and cannot request a cancellation or return a Metal Print to either Kaffe og Kunst or their printing partner LabKorner. Please note Metal Prints will be delivered at the bottom of the building on ground level.
10. Force Majeure
In accordance with Article 1148 of the French Code Civil (or similar provisions in other applicable jurisdictions), Kaffe og Kunst shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to fulfil obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, war, pandemics, strikes, governmental restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or any other events considered force majeure.

All prices, shipping times, product details, and other information provided on this website are subject to change without prior notice. We strive to ensure all information is accurate, but we cannot be held responsible for typographical errors, delays, or discrepancies that may occur due to external factors.
If you are unsure about any aspect of your order or have questions, please contact us before making a purchase. While I aim to reply as quickly as possible, please note that I may occasionally be out on location and will respond as soon as I can.
12. Colour Representation
Please note that colours may appear slightly different depending on the screen or device used to view the artwork. All Kaffe og Kunst are edited on professionally calibrated monitors to ensure colour consistency. Prints are produced using the official Fuji DPII Gloss 250 and Hahnemühle Pearl Giclée ICC profile, ensuring high fidelity and colour accuracy across production.
Care note: Fading caused by exposing your artwork to direct sunlight is not considered a defect.
To ensure your artwork retains its colour and vibrancy over time, we strongly recommend:
- Avoiding placement of your artwork where it will be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods
Proper care will help preserve the original quality of your fine art print.
13. How report a damaged or defective order
To report a damaged or defective order, please email osloartprints@gmail.com with the following:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- A copy of your invoice (PDF or photo)
- Photographic evidence, including:
- At least one clear photo of the damaged packaging
- At least one clear photo of the damaged artwork or product
We will review your claim and respond promptly. If approved, your replacement or refund will be processed as outlined above.
14. Intellectual Property
All content and images on this site are the property of Douglas Carr Photography and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
Kaffe og Kunst take care to ensure all information is accurate, but we reserve the right to correct errors. Kaffe og Kunst are not liable for any indirect damages resulting from product misuse or third-party services.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Norwegian law.
