Oslo Art Prints fine art prints are produced on Fuji DPI 250mg paper, a silver photo paper that has become a favourite among many professional artists, galleries, and museums, who appreciate the direct access viewers have to the image to fully experience its details and composition.

This Fuji Fine Art paper allows for sharp photo prints with enhanced colour rendering. Thanks to its gloss finish, the paper’s gentle and luxurious texture guarantees bright colours and intense blacks for black-and-white photography. Inkjet printing with pigment inks elegantly enhances the vibrancy of the colours in each Fine Art print.

All prints come with a 2.5 cm or 3.5 cm white margin around the image. Prints can be framed with or without a mat, although Oslo Art Prints recommends consulting a professional framer and using anti-reflective UV-protected art glass to enhance and protect the artwork.

Framing Options

Choose between aluminium prints with or without a black metal shadow box frame.

Aluminium Only

Aluminium prints are mounted directly onto sleek aluminium panels, creating a clean, modern frameless presentation with vivid colours and sharp detail.

Aluminium with Shadow Box Frame

Aluminium prints with a black shadow box frame offer the same contemporary finish, enhanced by a floating gallery-style frame that adds depth, presence, and a more refined exhibition look to the artwork.

 

Hanging Guide

To allow the fine art photography wall print to hang slightly away from the wall, a 20 mm-wide rectangular frame is attached to the back of the unframed print to reinforce the structure. Use the correct type of screws and wall plugs according to the wall material. Measure the distance between the two hanging notches and place two level screws with wall plugs into the wall.

On the sides of the frame, two notches allow the artwork to be hung directly using X hooks. At the centre of the frame, the certificate is attached, including a description of the artwork and the print number.

Safety Warning

The fixation materials must be appropriate for the type of wall and the weight of each limited edition fine art wall print. Mounting does not guarantee permanent attachment to the wall, and the artwork may accidentally become unhooked. The photograph should not be hung at child height or in locations where an accidental fall could cause bodily harm, such as above a bed.

 

Maintenance Guide

ALUMINIUM MOUNTS: Clean the surface with a dry microfibre rag.

SHADOW GAP FRAME : 

  • For the aluminium surface, clean with a dry microfibre cloth
  • For the plexiglass surface, clean with 70° pure alcohol and a microfibre cloth. 
  • For the wooden frame, clean with a a dry microfibre cloth.
